Our Opportunity
 
Our QA Manager will ensure all our brand merchandise is of consistent quality, make, fit, presentation and labelling. You will strategically source and manage a factory base that meets our brand's quality level, B Corp goals and a cost price structure across our apparel and accessories categories.
 
You will be working in partnership with our Buying and wider teams and while building strong and strategic sourcing and supplier relationships. 
 
 
Key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Continuously reviewing the vendor/factory performance, identifying the needs of the business and sourcing factories to meet our business requirements.
  • Identify supply chain partners that align with our quality and price requirements.
  • Provide support to our Group Ethical Sourcing Manager to ensure all factories are audited and meet standards.
  • Provide timely feedback to suppliers and ensure that quality processes meet standards.
  • Manage internal QA team to ensure factories are producing quality samples for fitting and quality product during production.
  • Develop and manage internal QA department and determine quality standards for merchandise.
  • Educate all vendors in QA processes/sample production quality standards approach
  • Manage the fabric and accessory testing procedure across supplier base
  • Provide input into the development of a QA processes and manuals
 
 To be successful in this role, you must have:
 
  • Fashion/Design/Business Textile degree or equivalent (desirable not essential)
  • Extensive experience in production, sourcing or Quality Assurance position
  • Extensive experience in factory sourcing negotiation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership and people management experience
  • Negotgiating and influencing experience
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Understanding of management of product and sampling critical path
